Day wise tour itinerary
Welcome abroad at the Delhi railway station/airport. After your arrival, you will be meeting our tour manager, who will then assist you. He will be with you throughout the trip, and briefly explain all about the tour schedule. Later, get transferred to the hotel. At afternoon, go on a local tour of Delhi, which will include visits to the QutubMinar, Laxmi Narayan Temple Humayun’s Tomb, Red Fort, India gate and drive past the President house as well as the Parliament Bhavan. The evening is free for shopping, and at night, you will be staying at the hotel.
At morning, drive towards Haridwar. After arriving at Haridwar, get transferred to your prebooked hotel. In the evening, you will be visiting Har-ki-Pauri for the Ganga Aarti. Spend the rest of the night back at your hotel.
Haridwar lies at the foothills of Shiva’s hills i.e. the Shivaliks, in the Haridwar district of the state of Uttaranchal Pradesh. The suryavanshi prince Bhagirath performed atonement here to re-claim the souls of his ancestors, who had previously perished because of the curse of the sage Kapila. The atonement was answered, and the Ganga trickled out forms Lord Shiva’s locks, and the river’s water resurrected the sixty thousands sons of King Sagara. In the tradition of Bhagirath, devoted and sincere Hindus in the sacred waters, while praying for the atonement of their deceased elders. It is considered as a doorway to the sources of the Yamuna and Ganga, 3000 to 4500 meters up into the snowy hills of the central Himalayas. The ‘Aarti’ worshipping of the Ganga after sunset, and the floating ‘Dia’ (lamp) is a very moving ritual.
In morning, proceed for the local tour of Haridwar, and visit Chandi Devi & Mansa Devi Temple, Har-ki-Pauri, dakshaMahadevTeple, Anandmai Ashram, Bikeshwar Mahadev, PawanDham, Vaishno Devi Temple, BhoomaNiketan, Doodhadhari Temple & Bharat Mata Mandir etc. Overnight stay will be at Haridwar hotel.
After having breakfast in the morning, drive to Rishikesh. Rishikesh is 30 kilometers away from Haridwar. After arriving here, check in the hotel, and later proceed for the local tour of Rishikesh. Rishikesh is a holy city for all Hindus, and is located in the foothills of the Himalaya in the Northern Indian. Legend concludes that Lord Rama did penance here, after killing the demon king of Lanka, Ravana. It is also known as the doorway to the Himalayas. Rishikesh is one of the starting points for travelling to the various sites that form the Char Dham pilgrimage – Kedarnath, Badrinath, Yamunotri and Gangotri. You will also be able to visist the popular Ram and LaxmanJhula, along with various magnificent ashrams.
After having breakfast in the morning, drive towards Delhi, in order to board your flight to Varanasi. Ater arriving at Varanasi, you will be transferred to your prebooked hotel. Varanasi is one of the oldest living cities in the entire world, and one can experience and witness the Hindu religion, in the most authentic way here. At evening, you will be able to enjoy a Riksha ride while exploring the places in this old city.
At morning, move out for a spiritual guided tour alongside the banks of Ganges, and to ride over this holy river, you will be taking a boat. Here you will be able to witness a number of Sadhus taking dips in the river, with their regular practice of Surya Namaskar (Preying of Lord Sun, while taking dips in the Ganges) and performing different Hindu rituals. After having breakfast, set out again in order to continue the sightsee tour, which will include visits to theDurga Temple, TulsiManas Temple and KashiVishwanath Temple. At night, you will be staying at the hotel.
In the morning, after having breakfast, you will be transferred to the Varanasi airport, in order to board the flight to Delhi. On the same day, you will be able to board your onward flight.
