Day wise tour itinerary

Day 01
Day 01 : : Bagdogra – Darjeeling

One of our company’s representatives will welcome you at the Bagdogra Airport, terminal IXB. You will be driven to Darjeeling, which I around 105 kilometers at a height of 70001 feet or 2123 meters. The drive will last for 4 hours, you experiencing the beauty, spectacular views of the sloping tea gardens during the time. The hills will be of Mount Everest, also called as the queen of hills. The train here, i.e. Darjeeling Himalayan Railway, commonly called as DHR is counted in the list of world heritage trains. You may check in to take rest at the hotel or roam on the streets of local shopping center or mall. The stay is to be done in the hotel.

Day 02
Day 02 : : Darjeeling

The journey for the day begins at 3:45 a.m., you being driven to the elevation of 2440 meters or 8000 feet, through oak forests of Magnolia until Tiger Hill, where you will be able to see the sunrise. The visibility subjects to the weather over Kanchendzonga Peak. You will be driven back, making visits through the Peace Memorial, Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop. Dropping off at the hotel, chauffer will ask you to rest and have breakfast within one hour, as the next round will begin only then. The rest of the day will be for visiting Zoological Park, Mountaineering Institute (Thursday off), Ropeway Tensing on Gumpo Rock, Refugee Help Center of Tibet (Sunday off), and tea estate, Natural Museum of History (Sunday Off) and Peace Pagoda. When you reach back at hotel, you may fiddle around in the streets, but stay will be at hotel.

Day 03
Day 03 : : Darjeeling – Gangtok

After breakfast, you will be driven to Sikkim, which is named as the capital of 22nd Indian State, Sikkim. It is a nature’s bliss and the number of options here attracts tourists. Monastery, High levelled lakes and orchids with wandering butterflies make it a must visit. When you reach there, you will be dropped off at the hotel. When ready, head over to the Handloom and Handicraft Directorate, Institute of Tibet, Do Drul Stupa, Monastery of Enchey, Flower Show, White hall, View Point and botanical garden. When done, you will be made to return to hotel. You then can roam in the native shopping market or MG Mall Road. The night stay is to be done at the hotel.

Day 04
Day 04 : : Gangtok (Excursion to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir)

Morning breakfast at hotel – Excursion to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir nearly 40 kilometers and 2 hours drive along the Kyongnosla Alpine Sanctuary, the home to the red panda and the blood pheasant with Rhododendron and other alpine trees along the road – Situated at an elevation of 3753 meters / 12310 feet – The Lake is oval shaped lake nearly 50 feet deep – Generally covered in snow for most of the year the year – This lake is home to the Brahmini ducks & many migratory birds – Nearby is the sacred Baba Mandir known to be a very holy site for all – Nathu La Pass to Republic of China is nearly 20 kilometers and is optional tour – Back to Gangtok – Evening free to roam around M G Road (Mall) or local Shopping center – Over Night stay at Gangtok.

Excursion to Tsongmo Lake and Baba Mandir is to be made after the breakfast. The travel is to be made for 2 hours or 40 kilometers. The drive will be around Sanctuary of Kyongnsola Alpine, which provides shed to Blood Pheasant, Rhododendron and Red Panda. Along the roads, you will also see lines of trees of Alpine. The lake that you will be reaching lies 3573 meters above the sea level, is in shape of an oval, has a depth of 50 feet and is generally frozen for most of the time. Migratory Birds and Brahmini Ducks live in the environment. If you want to, you can also visit Republic China’s Nathu La Pass. Alongside the lake, Mandir of Baba lies that is a holy site for all visitors. After all this, you can roam on the MG Road Mall or shop at local kiosks. Stay is at hotel.

 

Day 05
Day 05 : : Gangtok – Kalimpong

After having breakfast, Kalimpong is the place to be visited. Located in the foothills of the world famous Himalayas, a great destination, coupled with some historical essence and modern citizenship. The town provides some of the best views of Himalayan Range. Located at 4078 feet, Kalimpong holds on exoctic destinations that include Deolo Hill, Hanuman Temple, Durbin Monastery, Dr. Graham Homes, Nursuries of Pine. Later on, you will be allowed to roam in the streets, seeing nurseries and the night stay will be arranged for you at the hotel.

Day 06
Day 06 : : Kalimpong – Bagdogra

You will have to finish the breakfast to get dropped at the Bagdodara Airport, you carrying sweet memories to your home.
