Day wise tour itinerary

Day 1
Day 1 : : Delhi – Nainital (Driving Time: 7 hrs)

Welcome aboard at Delhi railway station/airport. On your arrival, you will be meeting our tour manager, who will assist you throughout your trip. He will introduce you to the trip details, and briefly explain everything about the trip schedule and the places you will be seeing within the trip. You will be taken to Nainital, which is a town in the state of Uttarakhand. It is situated in the Kumaon foothills of the outer Himalayas. It is located at an altitude of 6,358 feet (1,938 meters) above the seal level. Nainital is placed in a valley, which contains a pear-shaped lake of approximately two miles in circumference. On your arrival here, you will be transferred to a hotel. Rest of your day is free for you to explore the various scenic sights, mall road, or tourist attractions.

Day 2
Day 2 : : Nainital

In the morning, you will be paying a visit to Himalaya Darshan (Kilbury Road), Pangot and feel the 100% Pure Oxygen at this place, along with the Cave Garden. You can enjoy a cable car ride to the Tiffin Top & Boating in the Naini Lake (On your own). At evening, you will visit the HunamanGari Temple, which is 3Kms away from Nainital.

Day 3
Day 3 : : Nainital – Almora - Kausani (Driving Time: 3hrs)

Today, you will leave for Kasauni from Almora. Almora is an hour’s drive away from Kausani. It is the extensive regional capital of Kumaon. It is an extraordinarily beautiful place, which is also referred as the “Switzerland of India”. This place is clearly defined by three words; serenity, romance and charm. After arriving here, you will be taken for a sightseeing tour to the beautiful and famous spots of Almora. In the city tour, explore the Bright End Corner for a stunning sunrise and sunset view. This place also consists of a small library, which is built to commemorate Swami Vivekananda’s visit to this region, and features various books on spirituality. Next, you will be able to explore the Deer Park and the Chitai Temple. This temple is branded by a horde of bells, which hung in the premises to be able to be served as offerings to the lord, upon the fulfillment of one’s wish, and the Katarmal, which is across a river named Koshi. Continue your drive to Kausani, and after arriving, stay overnight at the hotels booked for you.

Day 4
Day 4 : : Kausani

Manifested by incomparable beauty, Kausani is located at an height of 189 meters, with lots of scenic charm and pleasure. From Kausani, you can see different snow-capped summits of Himalayas. The hills are draped in Oak and Pine forests and the region supports cultivation of various fruits like pears, peace and succulent apples. The beauty of this place is worth being admired, and the scenery here is just appropriate for nature walks. You can enjoy your whole day here, amidst the delightful scenery at Kausani. You will begin the sightseeing tour, which will consist paying a visit to Baijnath, a place which houses one of the world renowned 12 Jotirlingas, the Baijnath Temple. You will also be paying a visit to the city of Bageshwar, located on confluence of River Gomti and Saryu. This city homes a numer of temples, which date back to the 10th century AD. You can explore these sites, along with the Bagnath temple, which is situated in the center of the town. By the evening, return back to the hotel, and stay here overnight.

Day 5
Day 5 : : Kausani - Corbett National Park (Driving Time: 4hrs)

Next, drive towards the Corbett National park, and check into the prebooked hotel, and spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Corbett Wildlife National Park: It was opened up in 1936, and was India’s first wildlife national park, and possible the finest one till date. The Corbett National Park was established after consultation with a well-renowned hunter and ecologist, Jim Corbett. The wildlife park is spread over around 920.9 square kms at the elevation of 600 to 1100 metres at the slopes of western Himalayas, in the districts of PauriGarhwal and Nainital. In its lively 64 year life, it has continued to grow considerably in size, and now also includes the Sonanadi Wildlife Sanctuary as a part of its 1,319 square km of reserved forest area.s

Day 6
Day 6 : : Corbett National Park

In early morning, visit the Corbett National Park, and enjoy viewing the wildlife here. This national park in the state of Uttarakhand acts as a sheltered area for the critically endangered Bengal Tiger and several other species of this region. Around 488 species of plants, along with a varied variety of fauna are established at the pleasant habitat of the park. You will ride a jeep through the park in order to observe the sub-Himalayan belt’s ecological and geographical characteristics here. Adventure enthusiasts are especially fond of this park, not just for its wildlife, but for also its topography and structure of its hills, grasslands, riverine belts and ore, which mesmerizes all. When you set for a wild rendezvous in the woods, you will be joined by a number of naturalists and other experts who will guide and direct you through the bewildering and confusing paths of the jungle. You can also try an enthralling elephant safari ride (for additional costs) for the real essence of adventure.

Day 7
Day 7 : : Corbett – Delhi (Driving Time: 6hrs)

After having breakfast in the morning, set out for a ride back to Delhi. After arriving here, you will be transferred to the railway station/airport for your further journey back to home.
